Has anyone convinced their clinic to let them bank their NHS funded embryos and then go into a cycle of self funded stims without forfeiting NHS funding for transfer of their original embryos?
Im just about to turn 40 and our intention was to use PGT-A on our two frosties but they didn't have enough cells for testing so I'm not confident they will work. And Care are advising we do one at a time.
I'm also due to see am implantation specialist which is taking a bit of time so it doesn't make sense to put them back before we've got the advice from them. We've had 4 miscarriages and 4 chemical pregnancies over the past 4 years so this seems like an important avenue.
I'd rather go into stims and see if we can collect more embryos that we can test and go through more egg collection sooner rather than later. That will also keep us moving while we wait for the implantation clinic.
What I can't get my head around is that if we changed clinic this wouldn't be an issue and we could do stims now but because we want to stay with Care for continuity reasons we have to put the embryos back in before stims.
Frustrating.
Has anyone been able to bank their NHS Embryos?
