Covid before IVF cycle?

Hi,
I'm due to start my first round of IVF/ICSI end of Feb, but I caught Covid in mid Dec.
I've still got fatigue & brain fog 3 weeks later 🙄
I've read some conflicting articles about the impact of Covid on IVF cycles & im so confused. Does any one know, or have a clinic that has a policy on it?
I don't think mine does. I need to go in when I get AF in about 2/3 weeks, so gonna ask them then as I can never get a straight answer on the phone.

Hi, you might have found an answer to this already but I had covid in April 22 and started an IVF/ICSI cycle in late May, my clinic said there needed to be 7 weeks between positive covid test and embryo transfer. My husband caught covid a week after me but it seemed the 7 weeks only applied to me not him! Hope you're feeling better now

Hi. My clinic has also said that there needs to be 7 weeks between covid and egg collection but I don't really understand why. Does anybody know? I was wondering about all those people who don't have any covid symptoms .. how would they know if they'd had it 🤔

@lemons44 The 7 weeks will be so that you are in the best health possible for the procedure. It can take a while to fully get Covid out of your system.
