ERA/IMMAP testing

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has done these tests before. We have had 3 failed implantations from 2 cycles and our Dr has recommended these tests. We are scheduled to have them in a couple of weeks. Most of the research I have read on-line doesn't seem to encourage these tests. Has anyone done the tests and it's made a difference or is it just a waste of money? Also how soon after having the test were you able to start a fresh cycle?

Thanks

Hi there,

I am also interested in hearing about the ERA test in particular. We only have one good embryo to test and cannot afford any more rounds so our consultant recommended it alongside EMMA/ALICE/NKC and a hysteroscopy to ensure we give maximum chances of implementation.
Just adding that natural implantation was never an issue for me in the past, but I appreciate with IVF it’s important to catch the right window and yet I found mixed opinions online as to whether this is genuinely effective in doing that.

@try9ng I was advised that I wouod need a break month between the ERA movk cycle and FET cycle. I was also advised that I would need a prep
month on Norethisterone before the movk cycle, making it a grand total pf 4 months before embryo transfer, which feels liek forever so really struggling to decide.

Hi @try9ng I am just wondering did you go ahead with ERA and IMMAP? Did you find them helpful? I am in a similar situation with 2 implantation failures and want to explore all options before transferring our last embryo.

I am currently preparing for ERA and my doctor has changed her mind and advised us to do IMMAP alongside ERA, as an alternative to chicago bloods. I am quite skeptical as I cannot find much information on IMMAP. chicago bloods seems like a more common and established test. Thanks

I had endemtrio testing. Made all the difference for me after two failed transfers.

My implantation window was displaced and my microbiome was off

I took vaginal probiotics and my transfer was delayed in line with the findings.

I was given different drugs also including steroids, blood thinners and lubion to address my low progesterone and my transfer worked. I'm now 33 weeks pregnant
