Itching around prontogest injection site

For the last few days I’ve been itchy around my prontogest injection site. But it’s been six weeks since I weaned off. Has anyone experienced this? Seems a little delayed for allergic reaction?

Have you put anything on it? I had itching when I had the injections rather than after but I found that regular application of an emollient moisturising cream really helped soothe it. Might be worth a try?
