Posted here a couple of weeks back due to low/slow rising bHCG. I’ve had repeat bloods which have showed an increase and today was my first internal scan (I’m 6+1). There was an intrauterine pregnancy but it was measuring small (and obviously with IVF you do know the exact date!) and no heartbeat (have to go back next week). I know that all the signs are pointing to a poor outcome, this evening I’ve had some dark brown discharge, not dissimilar to the beginning of a period. Up to this point I’ve had no bleeding, cramps etc. I’m preparing for the worst but a little bit of me is wondering if it could be something simple like my cervix being irritated by the US probe? Just wanted to know if anybody else had experienced something similar?
