Embryo Adoption

I'm starting embryo adoption (donor egg + donor sperm) transfer round 1 of 6 in Feb 2023 in Spain clinic. Looking for some support and experience from anyone who has done it.
I've had a couple of failed ivf fresh cycles and have Endometriosis. My clinic advised embryo adoption as it's less invasive, quicker and much cheaper.
Anyone out there doing this right now I would love to hear your views as I feel a bit alone in this 💔

Hi @NaomiNatNat I had my first FET yesterday in Spain and it's a donor embryo. I don't have any fertility issues apart from being too old! I haven't really told people yet as I'm a bit afraid it won't work out. Just wanted to reach out and let you know you're not on your own! xx

How was embryo adoption in Spain I hope it worked out for you

@Greenlee Congrats on being pupo! I decided to start my treatment beginning of April as life got in the way. It's such a daunting thing to do. A lady nearing her 50s on here is now pregnant 6 weeks from doing EA, given me hope! I'm 38.
Did you do a pretreatment before your transfer? Mine is going to take a 6 to 8 weeks before I can do fet. When is otd?

Hi everyone! Thanks for thinking of me @NaomiNatNat . I'm now 4dp5dt after my second FET (well, I think it was a day-5, since it was a 4AA but definitely a blast). It has me a bit confused because my clinic didn't say, but anyway. It apparently went perfectly this time and I'm far more optimistic, since last time wasn't a good quality embryo and ended with a BFN.

I did decapeptyl the month before while on birth control pills (to prevent ovulation during my real cycle) then took estrogen from my period until my scan, and five days of progesterone before the transfer. I now stay on the e & p for 12 weeks. I also have clexane, aspirin and prednisone for the first trimester. OTD is still six days away but I might sneak a test in a bit early!
