What is your worst jorney about IVF ?

I am just curious to know what do other people think about ivf , I have seen people do it 1 time and for them it’s no more ever again , but then some people do ivf many times and they don’t find it too stressful , me myself Iv had 3 rounds of trasfers and all failed so far and I find IVf jorney quite easy to be honest , the only thing that stresses me is the time off work . 😊I don’t find injections painful I don’t find scans annoying I just find it all quite easy . Am I weird ? 😄 x

As soon my cycle fails I go into the next one straight away , I kind of just forget about the failed cycle and move on straight away . I know it’s like 50:50 so I expect negative much more than positive result .

If you ignore the emotional side of things, for me it’s what it’s done to my body. I’m not chubby round my belly in a way I’ve never been, and just can’t get rid of it. The drugs seem to have bloated me permanently. I didn’t find the actual injections or drugs too bad.

The cost?!

The trauma of constant failure. Getting older and making no progress, and when you don't make lots of embryos it's awful having to consider multiple egg retrievals that may never work. And as someone else said, the cost, I can't keep doing this at £5-7k per go.
