Hydrosalpinx Dissappeared

Hello, I wondered if anyone had experience of being told they had possible hydrosalpinx or endo from a vaginal ultrasound, only to then have an MRI and be told there is nothing there.... I was told by Care that I would need a laparoscopy to get rid of the fluid but as the MRI could not find anything I am wondering at next steps and potential risk to IVF still.

I had an MRI to map endometriosis pre laparoscopy that missed my hydrosalpinx. The hydrosalpinx would come and go ie. not present at initial scan, then flare up during IVF stimulation. As it had been about 6-8 weeks since my second round of IVF, I assume it was resting when the MRI was done.

I had surgery 4 days later and the tube was very diseased & definitely needed removal. Hope that’s helpful.

I was told it can coma and go and to have mri same day of cycle that it was spotted.

Porridgeislife did you find there was an improvemnt when them removed? were you waiting long for surgery beforehand
