blood tests after transfer

Hi all.

Looking for anyone whose clinic has them do day 4/7 (or any day) blood tests after embryo transfer to check progesterone and/or estrogen levels?

A number of Instagram IVF warriors I follow have these tests done in the US, and also the there seems to be a trend for estrogen supplementation on a stims cycle which isn't something I've ever encountered despite multiple rounds at different clinics, AND v v below AMH / undetectable estrogen levels. Confused

I know the USA has some different trends to here (their love of PIO) but would also like to hear from any others who have experience of these post ET blood tests?

I think some of the expensive London clinics will monitor bloods closely after the transfer, my clinic doesn't do any bloods post transfer not even a beta. They did let me have a progesterone level the day before the transfer. I have ordered a beta and progesterone test privately which I will take 8dp5dt as this should give me some information on how my progesterone was later on in the cycle which may help in future cycles if this one is unsuccessful.

Yes that's my thinking, surely the more info the better!!!

I have decided to go privately for bloods tomorrow, 4dp5dt ... will have to ask my clinic for appropriate reference ranges though as there's little info out there as to what is idéala

@spinkupromise it's debated a lot, in the UK the minimum acceptable level is around 30 the day before the transfer, some studies show higher is not good. But I'm an implantation failure patient and the specialist I'm under want the level over 80. Mine was 145 the day before the transfer.

Hi I've never thought of doing private bloods...ooh off to Google that now lol

My clinic no bloods apart from day of transfer progesterone check, but nothing.
