IVF help! Found a lump and worried

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can stop me freaking out. I’m 3dp5dt and since my egg collection I’ve noticed a hard lump on the inside of my vagina, right as the entrance and some swelling.

Has anyone else noticed this? My imagination is going wild . I guess as it appeared after egg collection it is linked to that but Dr Google isn’t coming up with any suggestions

Does the lump hurt when you apply pressure to it?

Slightly yes, more discomfort than hurt

No not necessarily a bad sign, but just trying to understand what you are experiencing.

I'm assuming you haven't got a temperature or anything either given you haven't listed?

Regardless, I would suggest having a doctor take a look to get an idea of what's going on. Dr Google will only lead you down an uncomfortable rabbit hole

GPs are quite challenging to see atm, so if you can't get an emergency appointment. Perhaps try a walk-in sexual health clinic. This worked for a friend who experienced something similar in the past.

It turned out to not be serious - so I'm not trying to panic you

@Maybemumma @BabyOnBoard90 thanks both, I’ve given the nurses a call from my fertility clinic and they’re going to call back tomorrow.

I have done some more googling and it sounds like it could be a cyst caused by the EC procedure.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. My mind is racing!

Freaking out here.. so never really look… you know there. But i had a look and seen these lumps. And now I'm absolutely freaking out that I’m dying or something. Ive had two children and i know i have a slight prolapse but what are them lumps around the opening.. Ive had sti checks all clear.
i don’t have pain or anything nothing unusual just them… help a scared mama out😭

Try not to panic although I know that’s easy to say. Have you just had an egg collection or just randomly found? I rang the nurse who wasn’t remotely concerned. She swore it was nothing to do with egg collection but I’m sure it must have been. She suggested maybe a hair from shaving had found its way in and become ingrown but after a few days it had disappeared. Worth getting it checked out though to put your mind at rest x
