TTC baby no.1

Me and my partner have been TTC for the past 2 years I am 29 he is 53, our GP has today told us she will refer us to a fertility specialist, I am so hoping that one day I will have a baby in my arms, I want nothing more than to be a mother, ladies please I need to hear some positive stories xoxo

Does he have any children of his own?

He doesn’t have any children, but he did get his ex partner pregnant but she miscarried

I don't have any positive personal story to give but at his age I'd recommend a semen analysis as first step. Is he on men's conception vitamins? Semen analysis is also cheap privately btw if you can afford that.

Thankyou for your reply, he has had 2 semen analysis. results was he does have sperm a little lower than normal on the morphology his was at 2% they like it to be at 4% but doctor told us to keep trying while waiting for our referral, I am waiting for another ultrasound as I have a cyst on my ovary it might need to be removed if it has got bigger as I have been suffering with it a while now. hopefully won’t be to long for our referral if waiting times are
to long hubby does have the means to pay for us to go private x
