Hi ladies hope you all well. X .

My friend had her transfer done she had bad news and good news. They said one of Her embryos was in good quality but not yet into blastocysts stage but is getting there, they waited day 5 still nothing happened but slowly progressing into blastocysts stage , they also put one that wasn’t doing so great but wasn’t bad so total 2 transferred. Does it mean it will reach blastocyst stage inside her before it starts implantation happens on the internet it says (around 2 days after transfer) She is worried and symptom spotting! Is been 2 days since the transfer
she is really worried hope someone can give advice or some hopefully stories x
thank you in advance .

Hi, @Saraaaa. The embryologist would not recommend an embryo be transferred if it were of unacceptable quality, so I would assume they have a chance to continue growing. I would have thought implantation would occur later in that case. Tell your friend to absolutely not symptom spot, as you really can't tell what is from the medication or not and it is very much possible to have no symptoms whatsoever and get a positive blood test. I personally cope by assuming the worst so I won't be disappointed, but it's hard not to stress.

The same happened to me, I had a low grade Embryo and a slow growing embryo which we put back. Currently 4dp5dt so all I can say is that I’m also hopeful 🤞 keep us posted on how your friend gets on

Our slow grower is 16 months old now 😀 she was our only viable embryo but hadn't reached blastocyst stage on day 5. They wouldn't transfer if there wasn't a chance - fingers crossed for your friend.

I’m not sure when the trigger shot is out, I did one today and there was a squinted but I know that’s just the trigger. When is your friend testing and what stage is she now? It’s so stressful, all the waiting and not knowing

@MGee123 that’s so lovely to hear, there is hope ❤️ thank you for sharing xx
