Hello, in the midst of trying to decide what IVF clinic to use and considering mild ivf at Create vs conventional ivf at Care. Wondering if anyone has had to make the same choice? Or have had experience of going through conventional ivf & then mild or vice versa. For reference - I am 40. Thanks

Hello LF28! How did you get on? x

@ehupo7 hi… I decided to go with Create in the end and still on the journey. Are you in the midst of making a decision? X

Yes! I’ve had a referral to the local NHS hospital but not been impressed and don’t want to wait around.

I have PCOS and am also 39. Have heard good things about Care and just heard Create mentioned too today. There is such a lot if information to discover and assess!

@ehupo7 theres lots - if you are interested in mild ivf then create do some info meetings that you can signup to attend via their website

Thanks for the info! I don’t really know if I’m interested in mild ivf… It would be great to get some advice from somewhere! I’ve been referred within nhs so far and no one seems to know anything about anything 🙈

I will look into Create and see if they can offer any insight. I’m aware that pcos can make you sensitive to hyper stimulation, so sounds like it could be worth investigating – although I don’t really feel qualified to make that call based on google research!

It’s so hard isn’t it! If you can I would try & speak to a few different clinics to help you understand your options

Hi @ehupo7 just from my experience I would say Create sre good, they have been very tailored in their approach whilst I'm currently going through a 3 x natural modified IVF package. I also had a consultation with Care and just from my experience found them to not be as tailored. They appeared to recommend long protocol when I have low AMH, but I only worked that out from the invoice with the list of medications- no one followed up to explain to me what was actually advised bar from a '2 cycle package', but that could have been an isolated case as I have read of some positive stories with Care

Sunflower360 · 16/09/2023 10:08

@LF82 how is your treatment going with Create?

Thank you!!! That is really useful info! I have been starting to lean towards Create, and that is really helpful to know.

I find that shocking that they didn’t explain the treatment plan to you!!!

Sunflower360 · 16/09/2023 10:26

@ehupo7 yeah I was too, one of the main reasons that put me off, felt a bit conveyor belt like experience which was a shame, but it could have just been an isolated case. The call centre was really good oddly in terms of general queries but when it came to understanding what protocol was advised they could not help.

Create on the other hand the consultation was tailored, had 45 mins with the Consultant, she read through all our notes as we'd had a pervious NHS cycle and the recommendations made we understood and made sense. We then had a further 2 calls with same consultant before starting treatment, so all round it was consistent and helpful.

Create have webinars every Tuesday, I would suggest joining it as you can ask questions anonymously live too in the session if you wanted to from a Dr at Create

@Sunflower360 so far they have been v good, we have had a few bumps in the treatment plan like a cancelled cycle but I have finished 3 round of mild ivf egg collection & we have 5 embryos. They diagnosed mild adenomyosis so I am in the midst of 3 months down reg before we attempt a transfer for the first time 🤞
How are you getting on?

Sunflower360 · 16/09/2023 11:36

@LF82 that all sounds positive, so is the fresh transfer in the package as a FET instead? I've just finished 1st of 3 cycles, pending a day 3 update so will see how that goes.

LF82 · 16/09/2023 12:45

@Sunflower360 yes they will
do a FET as opposed to a fresh as part of the package. I have everything crossed for you that you get good news at your day 3 update.

That is good to know @LF82 if we get to transfer stage, as my thoughts were maybe to wait but will see. And thanks, hope you're FET goes ok

Lostsoul2 · 12/07/2025 14:12

@LF82 hey, could you please update which clinic did you go for? And share your experience if that's ok.
