Fresh cycle fail, how long til period came?

Hi, I did my 10dp5dt test yesterday and it was negative, the clinic say at this point to stop taking progesterone and my period should come, I usually have a short luteal phase (10 days) so this cycle is already lots longer.
How long did you wait after stopping progesterone before your period came?
I just want to get this cycle over & done with now & a bit terrified that the period is gonna be traumatic enough.

@CNizzle sorry about the BFN. This journey is so cruel sometimes. Big hugs to you! I had a BFP and miscarried around 6 weeks, but didn't have a bleed until 6 days after I stopped progesterone. The clinic said it can take up to 10 days, although girls on other threads had a bleed much sooner than that. Good luck with next steps X

@Tinkerbell098 thanks, my 1st IVF cycle was a mmc discovered at 8 weeks, still on prog then, but I had obviously tested positive, think it took less than a week then... I think I just assumed as there's no HCG been produced, I'd just start bleeding or at least cramping straight away.

Sorry about the BFN. My period came about 3 days after I stopped the progesterone x
