IVF and ICSI 2WW November/December

Hello everyone, I'm currently 2dp5dt on my first ICSI cycle. Thought I'd start a 2ww thread seeing as my inane wonderings are going round in circles and driving me mad.

Anyone else in the same boat? My mind would like some company 🙂

I’ve got my BFP!! @Northbynorthbreast i had no symptoms too. No tender breasts, heaviness. I had a few pulling feeling but around 4dpt but literally nothing crazy. To be honest if it wasn’t symptom spotting I wouldn’t have even known.

keep the positivity up because it can happen!! I have my fingers crossed for you all.

It’s a no. Gutted. That’s four failed FET’s. I’ve tried everything and they just don’t seem to hold. I was so lucky to have my boy. Maybe I will never be able to give him a sibling. Gutted.

all the moment and the drugs and the pain and the shame. It’s so different to have a child might naturally arrive in this world. So sad.

@Northbynorthbreast I'm so so sorry. It's so painful isn't it. I tested slightly early and I'm out too.

It's so much to go through, particularly when there are no guarantees. I'm sending you big big hugs and lots of love. I hope you can take it easy for the next little while.

@countrypunk so sorry to hear your news too. It's just so damned sad. I have no control over this area of my life, no matter how much effort and care and longing i put in, it makes no difference at all. Contacted local fostering team today, perhaps the universe has a different plan for how we bring more little ones into our family.

Contacting the fostering team sounds like a really positive thing to do. I have a friend who's thinking about fostering to adopt. Something to think about.

Hi guys, hope you’re all ok. Just adding my results as I hate reading threads where people don’t post theirs!
Today is OFT and it was a BFN 😔
Out of curiosity how long does it usually take a nurse to call you back after leaving a message to give the negative result? I called 5 hours ago and have yet to hear from them…thought it would be sooner as I don’t even know whether I should take my next pessary :/

@hippo100285 I'm sorry. It's fucking rubbish isn't it. Hope you're bearing up.

I emailed my nursing team on a Saturday morning and they emailed back about 3 hours later. I stopped taking the progesterone supplement as soon as I knew I wasn't pregnant (but your nursing team's advice might be different).
