Ivf/icsi follicle sizes

soo I went for my scan and to talk about egg collection but my follicles haven’t grown much since last scan I had one at 14 and there rest were 7/8/9/10/11. We’ve been told to do a couple more days of stims and go back Wednesday but I’m worrying nothing is going to change! Has anyone else had this and seen a different in 2 days? 😔

Hi :) wondering what your outcome ended up being? I have only got 2 large follicles and a few small ones they didn’t tell me the size of. That was day 11 of stims. They sent me home to do a few more days worth of stims at a higher dose and then they’re gonna check again tomorrow. I don’t have any amh issues, just poor response due to really low starting dose - first cycle.

Do you mean 14 eggs? That's quite a few there not to worry. At the end it's really about the quality. Good luck!

If it's your first cycle, your doctor probably started you on low dose and they can use as a baseline which can be tweaked further later. Having said that you might not need many and just one good one! Good Luck!

I think she meant one egg was 14mm in size?

yeah I know the first round is often a bit of an experiment to see what dosages work best. Wish it wasn’t such an expensive experiment hahah. Fingers crossed we get one to transfer 🤞
