Hi, very new to this and after some thoughts on whether to proceed with collection.
Brief history, 39 and trying to freeze my eggs. Fertility scan last month, everything all where it should be, AFC of 10 - 6 on right ovary, 4 on left. AMH came back at 4.
Desperate to have a baby but new relationship so not quite right time yet but want to have a small chance down the road if I can and at least know I did explore all avenues if it doesn’t happen for me.
Started stims last Wednesday, and am now at the point where left ovary has done nothing and I have 1 maybe 2 follicles on my right that would be ready for collection on Friday.
Debating whether it is worth going through with it or pointless and I should just go back to the drawing board and reevaluate whether it’s worth trying again.
Any thoughts more than welcome.
