Hi all, I recently had my first IVF cycle and transferred a fresh day 5 blast. Pregnancy test day came around and it was the first positive I have ever seen and at this point I had really strong pregnancy symptoms.
It was the time for my early 7 week viability scan at the clinic and at that scan there was a gestational sac measuring 6 weeks, a yolk sac and absolutley no fetal pole so therefore no heart beat. Was pretty much told this is not viable and expect a miscarriage and was booked in for a scan the following week.
Now at this point i felt like all of my pregnancy symptoms disappeared so it was game over. However when i attended my next scan to the shock of the clinic there was a fetus measuring 6 weeks 5 days and a heartbeat. They told me the heartbeat is a little low and the yolk sac is enlarged so still expect a miscarriage. I'm due for another scan soon and have no idea what to think. I have had no bleeding.
