So im on My 2nd round of IVF/icsi due to MFI my AMH is within the normal range and AFC count of 21 before I started treatment.
My first round was unsuccessful...I responded poorly to stims and only got 6 eggs, 2 were immature, 1 disintegrated, and only 1 of the 3 left fertilised this was put back on day 3 but sadly did not end in a pregnancy. Much to say I was pretty devastated as this was our free NHS round.
Jump forward after a difficult 6 months finally feel ready to start again. Again- similar AFC count and Amh still normal. They decided to put me on the highest dose- 450iu of menopur this time around. And a dual trigger too on trigger day. I've had egg collection today feeling so deflated after saying they've got 6 eggs again. I'm unsure how many will be mature and/or fertilised, but it just feels like the same as last time. I would have thought being on the highest dose of stims there would have been a better result?! I'm so confused.
Anyone else have similar stories?
