Staying positive when TTC long term

Hi everyone. Would anyone have any tips on how to remain positive and optimistic when TTC long term?

I am currently on my second cycle of clomid. When the first one failed, I gave up there and then and have no hope it it working this month or next month.

It is hard to remain hopeful when test after test is negative every month.

My first month on clomid didn't work because I misunderstood when to take it so make sure you absolutely have done it the right days. It did work the second time. So def worth a check and that you're having sex at the right times Inc a day or two before so the sperm is young and fresh 😁

Even if the medicine works, there's reasons why it might not have fertilised or implanted so I wouldn't assume one month of ovulation means it's all a failure.

How long have you been ttc? How many months of clomid do you have?

You just have to tell yourself this is part of the process. It isn't immediate, even a fertility-healthy ovulating woman can take a few months.

Goodl uck x

Thank you for your reply @SleepingStandingUp

TTC with 12 months, I am on my second month of clomid just in the two week wait now and will have one more clomid cycle after this so three cycles in total. Then a Hycosy is the next step.

I hope I have taken it correctly, as advised by the consultant. They advised two days of having sex but I did 3 just in case!

It is good to hear it worked the second time maybe there is hope for me yet.
