Currently having IVF.
Had to cancel the fresh transfer from our first cycle, as started bleeding a few days after egg collection and scan showed endometrial lining had decreased from 8 to 5 mm. I have a long history of bleeding from a few days after ovulation (luteal bleeding) despite normal progesterone levels plus supplementation.
Just feel really deflated, I was always aware that there may be failed attempts but this seems quite a major problem to me. Just wondered if anyone has been in my position and how they got on? Can’t seem to get any answers from my medical team, and haven’t been able to see a consultant.
I guess I have to be hopeful that a medicated frozen transfer may work as hormone balance will be different. And we did get 6 frozen embryos. But what I can never carry them?
