Hi

Has anyone used this clinic and if so what are your thoughts?

I am currently looking for clinics as we don't qualify for NHS ivf. So far I'm looking at create/ABC or Kings. However, also looking at the access packages with lister or TFP. I'm leaning towards TFP as they have better success rates but would like some personal experiences.

Hello! I wondered if you went ahead with Simply Fertility? I'm looking for first hand experiences myself - I hope to them but feels so "salesperson" and not what I expected :) hope all is going well on your fertility journey

My advice - stay well clear. I’ve had horrible experiences with them

@JandL2020 Im sorry you had a bad experience. Could you tell me more about it? I have initial consultation booked. Have you subsequently used another company and had any better experiences? X

I haven’t moved clinics because I have frozen embryos left and it’s local…also going through investigations at another clinic but will consider moving the embryos to another clinic when the time comes to have another transfer.
I’ve had 3 miscarriages, absolutely no empathy at all, no follow up, rough handling on scans. One consultant dr Gangooly is better and actually don’t mind speaking to him. But dr Mohammad made a really insensitive comment during a transfer said “you got 2 for the price of 1 last time”…twins …but ended in miscarriage. I just couldn’t believe what he said. Before this I found he was nice but this just too far. They also didn’t check/wouldn’t check my progesterone even though they checked someone else free of charge. Also wouldn’t check my hcg which I had to push for. She went onto have successful pregnancy on first go so perhaps I’ve just been really unlucky. I just felt like I’ve had to advocate myself at every stage. Even calling them other week to ask for consultant email to ask him something …wouldn’t do it had to book consultation. 🤣even if you pay private doesn’t mean you get a good service you expect. It’s obviously great if it works but sucks if it doesn’t and you had treated like crap.

Hi @smashedbanana
Sorry to tell you but we had the worst experience with this clinic 😩 however ours was relating to my husband needing a surgical sperm retrieval. We were really messed around, waiting 6 weeks for the procedure for it to be cancelled the day before, then strung along for weeks whilst people were on annual leave so couldn't confirm if they could do the procedure on my husband or not. I wasn't very happy with how they handled my complaint either. Our issue was very specific to us so I can't comment on the IVF process. We switched to Bourn Hall and are much happier!

@WhiskeyInTheJar33 didn't realise you were considering this clinic! This isn't the one that's been messing you around so much is it?! Xx

@JandL2020 I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I can't imagine how heartbreaking that would be, you'd hope for more sympathy from a clinic dealing with fertility issues. I'm so sensitive even talking about my partner about it, I don't need anyone not making me feel comfortable. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with me.
@lemons44 thank you for replying. I had looked at Bourn Hall but it was further away so I thought it would be more convenient...
