Help? Confused!

Hi,

Just chased my referral to a fertility clinic with my GP. Receptionist on the phone said the funding has been rejected because of ?ICB? She couldn't really understand this. Looks like they've applied for funding again.

Background: 30, husband male factor no previous kids. Stoke on Trent CCG.

Any ideas what this means? Obviously upset! Will ring GP tomorrow to clarify.

I believe there are the replacements for CCGs - Integrated Care Boards.
How long have you been trying? Have you had a miscarriage or ectopic recently? How bad is husbands sperm?

Thanks for the reply. Trying for over 3 years. No miscarriages etc. husbands sperm was less than 1% morphology.

I'd check if your area is one of the few that doesn't find any IVF at all or has frozen funding for a while due to budget pressures?
