Low HCG level but almost doubling. Help!

Hi,
I had a 5 day fresh early blastocyst transferred 15 days ago. I had positive tests from Saturday but on OTD it seemed slightly lighter and clear blue was showing 1-2 weeks. After several chemical pregnancies, a mmc and a late miscarriage I am seriously anxious so the clinic agreed to do a BETA. My results were 13dp5dt:155 and 15dp5dt:299.
The consultant was happy with the results but from everything I’ve seen on Google, I’m petrified the numbers are too low. Anyone with similar experiences? What do you think?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry OP those numbers are low - my clinic said they aimed for over 100 on 9dp5dt but I have heard lots of stories of very low hcg levels where there has been a happy ending too x

I've heard of many ladies having low starting HCG numbers and having successful births. My understanding is that it is all about the HCG numbers increasing at the correct rate rather than the number itself. Perhaps the embryo implated late? Sending you lots of luck xx

The starting numbers can vary wildly. Yes, you’re below the median level, but you’re still sitting between the averages. Also, I see a lot of people panicking about them not more than doubling within 48 hours, but as long as they double within 48-72 hours that’s healthy.

Thank you so much for the replies @Jane1284 @MyEasterEggs @singlemomof3.
I had another BETA yesterday which came back at 590 (wasn’t quite 48 hours between) so the consultant is still happy! Scan booked for 2 weeks away! Not sure whether to push for more BETAs or just try and go with the flow! (Easier said than done I know!)

Wonderful news! Will be thinking of you and hoping everything progresses as it should.
I obsessively tested once I got my BFP and after a month I had to cut myself off as it was just getting more stressful xx
