Which embryo should I transfer??? Advice needed

Sorry this is going to be a long one! I have x3 frozen embryos. I don’t know which one to transfer as there are some complications.

1 embryo is a 4AA untested embryo from my first clinic.

2 embryos are from a later round of IVF where I got 3 embryos and had them PGS tested. An abnormal embryo was discarded and the 2 remaining came back inconclusive and had to be biopsied again so these embryos have been biopsied - frozen - defrosted - biopsied - refrozen and will need to be defrosted again for transfer so I’m worried about how good they are.

1st embryo is a 3AA and when initially biopsied it came back ‘ no DNA detected’ and on second biopsy came back ‘low level mosaic trisomy 1’ so they said we can transfer it

2nd embryo is a 5AA , first biopsy came back inconclusive potential extra chromosone 22 but on second biopsy apparently now it’s normal!

I don’t know how I feel about this.

can I trust the normal result now as extra chromosome 22 would lead to severe mental and physical disability. Should I transfer the mosaics in hopes it’ll correct as trisomy 1 appears to be no implantation or miscarriage if it is abnormal with this trisomy or should I just transfer the untested 4AA that hasn’t been messed around with but could have an unknown chromosomal issue or be perfectly normal.

wishing I hadn’t bothered with PGS at all! Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Hi just read you message. I can understand why you are struggling with which embryo to transfer. Have you had a discussion with the embryologist rather that the doctor? They are very knowledgeable and may have had other patients with similar results.

I too would be concerned regarding the reliability of the results.

I only had very low numbers on egg collection so I decided not to use the genetic testing. Did you decide to test due to previous implementation failures? X

Hello I’m wondering what you decided to do? I’m in a similar situation-
4 IVF rounds 3 fresh failed average embryo transfers and never embryos to freeze until 4th round when I had a fresh transfer (4BB) failed. I then froze 3 embryos (4BB, 4BB, 5AB)
I had 2 frozen embryos transferred (the 4BBs) both implanted but I lost 1 twin at 8 weeks and 1 TFMR at 17 weeks unfortunately due to heart defect found in scan and T21 found in NIPT test.
I now have one frozen 5AB. I’m not sure whether to transfer the 5AB or do another cycle to get more embryos OR to move clinics and do the PGT testing but I have heard varied opinions About the testing and reading your story it seems the testing is not reliable? I’m just worried my last embryo is abnormal and I do not want to go through another TFMR (or a miscarriage) I’m leaning towards doing another round without PGT and hoping the last pregnancy was just very bad luck, but it’s difficult to weigh up which is best. I’m 38 and I don’t really want to waste another year transferring abnormal embryos.
