Rapid Decline in AMH

Hi everyone,

Here I am once again , asking for advice from wise Mumsnetters as I was given some results today by the reception of my clinic which concerned me massively and I cannot get an appointment for love nor money with my consultant to discuss them.

Long story short for background. 2 years TTC, PCOS, 6 failed rounds of Letrozole and now waiting for IVF Referral.

I got my AMH results today and was really shocked by the decline. My last results taken a year ago we’re 49.9 pmol ( high/ pcos) and now it’s dropped right down to 18. It’s declined by more than half!

I know this is still within normal ranges for my age (33) and hopefully won’t impact IVF but it’s the speed of decline that has really frightened me. Is this normal?

Am I headed for early menopause and in a years time il have 0 AMH or a wild thought …. is it even possible that my PCOS is retreating/ under control due to supplements etc and that’s impacting it?

Has this ever happened to anyone else and what could be the cause for such a rapid decline , please help?
