Pergovaris 375 a lot for 40yr old with AMH of 10?

Hiya! I’ve been given a protocol of 375 pergovaris for at least the first five days. At other clinics I’ve been offered lower (200-300) dose of gonal f, but unfortunately couldn’t go ahead with them for other reasons. I’m a bit twitchy about the long term effects so would prefer a lower dose. Also pergovaris seems more expensive! And I read it’s better for ladies with DOR? Anyone with similar stats got any advice of which looks the most suitable? My afc varies a lot but is usually over 8

Have you spoken to your clinic about your concerns? I think it is worth asking why they are starting so high and how they think you would respond on a lower dose. They should also be able to advise you of any long term effects.

My AMH was 9.2 and I started on 300 of menopur but it was upper to 375 on day 9 of stims for the last 3 days. My AFC was 11 on the testing cycle but was higher for the IVF cycle.
