High amh levels

Hello!

Iv recently had my routine infertility check done and received my letter stating I had very high amh levels of 75!

After researching it seems this is more common in woman with PCOS but my doctor never told me this? I had my ovaries etc scanned and no one said anything about it. Is it possible for it to be this high without having pcos?

I don't have any the symptoms. I have regular cycle etc.

Please help I'm worried! My appointment with the doctor isn't for another few weeks so will ask her about it then but in the mean time I'd love to hear anyone else's thoughts.

Mine was over 45 at the age of 44 and that's considered very high. But I don't have PCOS and my fertility doctor said it was not of any consequence (at this point, I am now 46). Looking at my ovaries last week, one side didn't seem to have follicles at all and the other side had one or two. This is standard for someone in my situation and at my age. If they made no comments while looking at your ovaries then I would try not to worry xx

Mine was 78 and I have PCOS. Not sure if that helps. They can't always see it by scan. What were the other hormone results like? X

Thank you for replying!

They letter said there were no issues at all and it was just unexplained infertility.

What other tests are needed to find out about pcos?

I have regular periods and ovulate every month. I don't have any symptoms of pcos x
