Unsuccessful Clomid Round 1

Hi, I'm new to this community.

My husband and I are TTC our first child. Went off of birth control in February and there is no evidence that I ever started ovulating.

My OB put me on Clomid 50mg on Sept 20. I took on days 5-9 (Sept 20-24). Went for bloodwork on cycle day 21 (Oct 5).
My progesterone came back lower than what he wanted it to be (9.2). So, next cycle he upped my dosage to 100mg.

During this first round of Clomid, I had symptoms that I have never experienced before. Breast tenderness, cramping, nausea - what I thought were symptoms of ovulating, I guess was just side effects from the medicine.

Can anyone tell me if they have had similar experiences? Success stories? Anything that you feel would be helpful!

i have literally just finished cycle 2 I took my last pills last night and it’s so strange because the hot flashes have been stronger this time and I take them before bed to sleep through the symptoms but for some reason they’ve been stronger this time and I’m more restless in bed!

What does concern me and this has happened again the same way is that from day 5 of the tablets I get this weird pulling and heavy sensation down below, I had it on cycle 1 literally from day 5 of taking the tablets and it lasted right up until I got my period which can you believe took almost 3 months and only fully came due to taking Provera!!
