FET after pregnancy loss

I've experienced recurrent miscarriage over the past 2 years and my hubby and I are about to go for our first transfer on Friday with a PGTA embryo

My issues are immune and while I'm medicated up to control it I'm so unbelievably scared and nervous about this not working/ another miscarriage.

Any tips for calming down or positive stories?

Hi @Conundrum12345 i know it’s a few months since your post but I wondered how it has turned out for you? I’ve done 3 failed rounds of ivf, including an ectopic and a miscarriage (going through that now). Just before the last round I had some anti nuclear antibodies found. My clinic aren’t into immune issues but my accupuncturist has strongly advised me to look into it more with different specialists.
I hope your transfer went well anyway. Would be interested to hear how you got on.

@Ems123456789 how did things go for you?

Hi @Fox01 i asked to have a natural killer cell assessment which came back outside of the normal range. My clinic are recommending me a protocol of intralipids, aspirin, steroids, clexane, estrogen as well as the usual progesterone I would have with a transfer. I am getting a second opinion from another doctor in London before I move forward with my transfer, as he knows more about this area.

@Ems123456789 thank you for updating. How long did your miscarriage take to 'pass'? Good news about NKs. Are you private then and now? Your protocol sounds really good. I'm assuming they aren't giving you a reason for the losses?

Hi @Fox01 my first loss was an ectopic identified after many scans and bloods at the hospital. My second miscarriage was diagnosed by ultrasound at 7.5 weeks when they said it had stopped growing and the sac was empty. Unfortunately it didn’t pass naturally so I took the option of medical management.
My clinic say it’s technically only 1 miscarriage because apparently an ectopic isn’t classed as ectopic but I don’t really buy that because it still didn’t go in the right place of work out.
i am private because I didn’t get in on nhs funding as my ovarian reserve was below the cut off which was so frustrating.
Are you in a similar situation?
