Instinct - did you know whether you were pregnant before OTD?

I had a FET with a high quality blastocyst last week. Although I was initially quite optimistic, I just knew it hadn't worked from about two days later - I started feeling quite depressed and my uterus felt 'empty' for want of a better word. I tested early today with a FRER because I felt it hadn't worked and it's unsurprisingly negative. I'm wondering whether other people had had similar experiences and instinctively knew from quite early on whether their treatment had been successful or not.

I dunno, you will get loads of people who will tell you they did and I don't want to invalidate your experience either.

But my personal experience is that I have been utterly convinced I "knew" that I was either pregnant or not pregnant at different times, and in reality I didn't have a clue. It was just my emotions/ psychology getting the better of me.

I really don't think it's possible to actually know. What is happening in your body with implantation and hormone changes at those early stages is actually so small. Any symptoms you might feel are extremely similar whether you are pregnant or getting your period or just general twinges etc.

So I don't think there is a magical 'knowing' or some kind of psychic connection with a tiny embryo... I think we sometimes feel there is and that feeling can be very strong... but in my experience, it is just emotions.

Hi OP, on both occasions when I had ivf bfp I had blood in my nose a couple of days before testing.

But like previous poster said, when I was trying to conceive naturally there were loads of times I was convinced I was pregnant due to all sorts of symptoms and pains and never was.
