Frozen embryo transfer

I have one embryo left over and am deciding whether to transfer. It’s been a few years since my Ivf journey and I’ve forgotten the process? It’s obviously a lot simpler than all the cycles I had to do from fresh.
Can anyone please remind me of the process and how many appointments in general it takes?( I have a 6 hour round trip train journey to each appointment)

In all I had three appointments for a FET. One scan when my cycle started, another scan around day 10 and then the transfer, maybe day 15?

So a scan on day one of your period? What drugs do we need to take? Was it just progesterone?
So likely four appointments, to include the first one? I think they do an internal to start with etc?

Just 3 appointments in total for me. I called when af came they gave me an appointment at the clinic the next day for an internal scan. They prescribed oestrogen tablets to start that day. When I returned around day 10 (another internal scan) I had to start taking progesterone too. I continued to take these until transfer (and until I was around 10 weeks pregnant). My FET was following a freeze all IVF cycle a few months prior so maybe if you haven’t been at the clinic for a while they may want to see you and do other testing first.

We did 345 abroad

3 fresh

4&5 fet

Was almost 7yrs who now so May be a little hazy - dd is 6 next week

But 2 visits

I started progynova on day 1 - and increase dose think at day 4

Day 10/12 I got scanned and had 1.1 thickness (told perfect but think anything over .8 ok) and triple layer

So a clinic here scanned me and sent results abroad

Flew over for the fet day 20/21 as previous era showed I needed longer than usual timings

And that was it

Obv finally worked And had a scan locally at 6w

May be different now as this was 7yrs ago and obv abroad
