I’m entitled to two cycles on the NHS before I’m 40.
I’m just about to start my first cycle and am pragmatically thinking about when my second one would be.
If this cycle doesn’t work then I presume they will want me to wait to have a natural cycle before trying again. But there is a Christmas closure to think about, and I turn 40 in January. Yikes!
So my question is, how strictly do NHS clinics take the age cut off? Is it as long as I start stims before my 40th birthday or is it that embryo transfer would have to be done before I’m 40?
