I've had a missed miscarriage at 9w2d after seeing heartbeat at 6w3d. They said development looked like it had stopped at 5-6 weeks growth. I am going into hospital at the weekend to have medical management and hoping to avoid surgical management next week.

This is my first pregnancy in over 11 years. We have 14 and 11-year-old daughters, but I had 3 miscarriages between them. With my first I had unexplained infertility and irregular cycles. All blood tests came back normal through fertility investigation, but they only ever did blood tests for 1 cycle. My second daughter was conceived with clomid, but I don't think my cycles were fully competent leading up to her conception and I had early losses at 5w6d, 3w5d and 5w4d.

I honestly don't know whether to throw in the towel or consider trying again for another 6 months. My work have been really good, so I'd be in a position to self-refer to EPAU again I think if I needed to. The EPAU had said my ovaries all looked fine and the lining looked really good. They have also said they can do genetic testing on any tissue.

We don't want to go through fertility treatment again. I can't cope with TTC feeling so high stakes again and the stress of investigation has a massive impact, but we have done okay just seeing how things went over the past 12-18 months or so.

I am considering doing advanced female blood tests and an AMH test privately myself once my next cycles start. There is this really loud self-talk though where there are very strong feelings of shame, inadequacy, foolishness and pain associated with infertility for me, but I am also not convinced it is simply my age as my cycles and patterns are almost the same, except that previous losses were usually spontaneous. My cycles are very similar, better and a little more regular than they were the two times we conceived successfully before, so my chances of conceiving are actually peak for me at 8-9 cycles a year. I still feel like it is a case of now or never. EPAU was talking about egg quality diminishing though as if that is the only / likeliest cause. It may have always been the cause iyswim.

I don't really know what I am asking here, other than feedback or other experiences. My progesterone was on the low side at 18dpo and 32dpo, but I didn't have any spotting so I think that was probably ok, but some luteal phases and cycles have historically been better than others from bbt tracking using an ava bracelet. I've sent another hcg test today as it got up to 15000 the day after my previous scan, so at least I know where I am at before they give me medication to start to reset the hormones.
