I have been trying for seven months now after vacuum aspiration abortion but still no result .I had an abortion by mistake ,I thought I wasn't ready to keep a baby being that I am still in medical school ,my bf didn't give me a permission to abort and I went ahead ,now he forgave me and we are trying again but still no results.Anyone had a vacuum abortion before ? And how long did you get pregnant after it ?

Why are you still with a man who tries to control your reproductive choices?

I would advise you post on the conception boards. It is common to get pregnant again after an abortion without any issues. Up to 1 year trying to conceive is totally normal and is not infertility. I'd also think long and hard about whether this relationship is a healthy one to conceive in

Sometimes can take a while for your cycles to return to normal after pregnancy / termination. The vacuum aspiration doesn’t cause infertility but it can take up to a year for women without fertility issues to fall pregnant. Have u tried ovulation tests/ tracking your cycle?

For the record, you don’t need permission from your partner to have an abortion, your body, your choice x

@Jaaxe Thanks so much ....I bought ovulation kits and I started to track ....my period is also irregular after the termination meaning I may not be ovulating yet .I hope everything returns to normal
