Restarting treatment at St Barts - delays?

Hi everyone,

I had my egg collection in May - collected 20 eggs, 10 fertilised, and 7 of which are now frozen blastocysts. Unfortunately, I developed OHSS, which meant we couldn't have any embryos implanted for three months. Due to house moves etc, we asked to defer until September, but the clinic have gone cold on us.

I've sent three emails since May asking for likely dates on when we are to begin, but received nothing back. Just that a nurse will be in contact - but they haven't. Is anyone else in a similar situation, potentially at St Barts?

Any advice welcome - I often find it hard to assert myself, but the last thing I want is to be forgotten about (especially when they assured us we wouldn't be bumped to the end of the queue.) Thanks in advance.

Hello! I’m surprised to hear they are not getting back to you. Overall I’ve been happy with Barts, of course at times I’ve had to be on it and bit more with communication. Im about to start stims for first fresh nhs cycle - feeling nervous! I would keep emailing and calling and you should get through to someone. They are very busy as they have had to absorb Homerton patients. Good luck!

Thanks for getting back to me @Everythingcrossed89 - I agree, they have been fab in the most part. Just feeling a little lost now, which is not helped by the fact that three of my friends have just announced pregnancies/births. I hope all goes well with your stims, and I shall keep on keeping on with the clinic :)
