Cyclogest while out and about

Hello! I’m a few days post embryo transfer and taking two cyclogest pessaries (one morning and evening) and a lubion injection every evening.

I have been taking the pessaries vaginally at around 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening as I’ve read that keeping it within around 12 hours is preferred- though instructions are just to take in morning and evening. I take them vaginally and lie down after for 15-20 mins.

I am going to a concert for my husband’s birthday tomorrow. It is seated. I was wondering if ok to take the pessary while out - but not able to lie horizontally afterwards - or better to wait til I get home and take it around 10 or 11pm? I’m planning on taking my lubion injection with me to take at the regular time.

I’m probably overthinking this a bit…

Good luck @Yazoop I'll be doing the same this FET just had the run about trying to get cyclogest as it is out of stock in a lot of places. I plan to do my cyclogest re rally for ease, you could try that for the night you are out as it will be more...secure than when insert vaginally. Meaning you won't need to lie down.

Thanks @Hoping4baby21! I might give that a try but the thought of doing it rectally makes me feel a bit queasy although I'm not sure quite why as it is less messy!

Definitely recommend using the back passage , way less mess and once you get over the queasy factor you won’t look back. I found wetting the tip helped ! Good luck

@Yazoop I am on the pessaries 7:30 am and 7:30 PM. This evening I have an event so it will go in the other way.

They need to be around 13 hours apart to work and vaginally you need to lie down I don't like using the back way but have done it once or twice if I need too.
