Access Fertility - miscarriage clause help

Husband and I are quite far into the process of getting ready to start IVF again, with the multi cycle package with Access. Have just looked at the final paperwork and not signed it as noticed the miscarriage clause, which states if you have two miscarriages they can terminate your package and this includes those outside the package. I've had one miscarriage historically so this could mean if the first round ends in loss they would not allow me to have the second IVF cycle. Anyone have experience of this issue with Access?

Well that’s one (appalling) way to keep their live birth rate up!

Yes I was refused access funding due to a history of multiple miscarriages

In case anyone else reads this and needs to know, Access stated they have this clause but have never removed someone from the package because of it. They sent me this in writing so will be proceeding with them.

That's good! I should have clarified I wasn't allowed the refund guarantee package ie money back if it doesn't work

@despairingdonut I was declined from the refund package too as had a few failed rounds of IVF already. It's a minefield out there. Hope you found/ find your happy ending
