Drinking before FET

Waiting for AF to show up to start medication for my first FET.
Anyone who has had a FET what stage did you stop drinking?
I don’t drink loads, maybe a few glasses of wine at the weekend, but I’ve got a wedding this weekend and a weekend away next weekend and then I’m expecting AF. Should I have stopped now? Or do you think it’s ok to drink up until I start the medication? I want to enjoy the last couple of weeks before everything starts but not at the expense of risking (hopeful🤞🏼) success.

Heya, it's so hard to decide this as I am in same boat, but I have a funeral not a wedding where I may be expected to drink a toast of whisky or have a few drinks at the wake.

I don't think it makes a huge difference to the outcome of things, however for me I decided I wouldn't drink because if for some reason this cycle doesn't work for me, I don't want to be wondering if it was something I did, and agonise over that when it was totally something else.

I think the research shows more than 4 drinks a week prior to an IVF cycle can have a detrimental effect, but under that amount does not appear to have an impact. My clinic is very relaxed about this and says a couple of drinks a week is totally fine.
