@xttcbabyno1x hi! Yes. So imo the overall count isn't the highest when taking into account his morphology or normal forms is at 2%.

Whilst you absolutely can conceive with those results, it may take longer - no one can say how long sadly and frustratingly. How long have you been trying?

We had similar results ish and saw a urologist and had many consultations with the fertility clinic before I fell pregnant naturally after over a year.

I would recommend:

  • limit caffeine to 1 coffee a day
  • sensible drinking
  • no hot baths, saunas, jacuzzis
  • no laptop on lap
  • no cycling (or at least limit)
  • see a urologist if you can afford it
  • consider supplements. Either an all round fertility supplement for improving a sperm quality or Proxeed.

Hope this helps x

@xttcbabyno1x okay so quite early days still.

My OH had lower overall count and 0% morphology which jumped to 9% 2 months later with lifestyle changes and supplements. He had higher motility, but your OH motility is still good. It take 72-90 days for new sperm to generate so get started with making improvements / taking supplements and hopefully in a few months you'll see an improvement. There is absolutely a chance every month, so keep dtd and believe it might happen. X

@xttcbabyno1x I think it's probably luck to be honest. You'd never had known had you not tested quite early on in trying. I think lots of men would have very varying results, just lots will never know because they don't get an SA. The whole thing is fascinating. Some get lucky, some don't! Probs also depends on you as a female and the quality of your eggs and all the different hormone levels too! Really great news and getting to 8.5 weeks is so positive. Fingers crossed everything keeps going. I'm 17 weeks now!
