IVF: estrogen makes me bleed horribly, help!

I have been having IVF for a year. I have had 3 egg retrievals and 3 attempts at transfer.

I have been having IVF for a year. I have had 3 egg retrievals and 3 attempts at transfer. I had one transfer work, but then had a miscarriage.

The other two transfers got canceled because I bled constantly during the medication, estrogen patches once and the other time oral estrogen. The time it worked was also oral/ My doctor seems mystified and just keeps saying things like "estrogen doesn't cause heavy bleeding and cramping" despite it seeming to be very connected. I am worried I have some undiagonised issue he is not familiar with and worried I will just keep failing. Has anyone else had this experience? Did you find any answers?

Sounds like you have had such a hard journey so far. I seem to be having the opposite problem. This is my first IVF cycle and I’m estrogen priming but my period has not come yet. It’s usually really regular and now it’s 2 days off. I think these hormones just affect everyone so differently but I wouldn’t be happy with that explanation or more so lack of explanation from your doctor.
