IVF thin lining specialist recommendations

Does such thing exist?

I am looking for a new IVF clinic and am at a loss which one to turn to. Please does anyone have any recommendations for thin lining issues?

We turned to IVF due to my PCOS (irregular / light periods all adult life, minus the 10 spent on contraceptive pill 😬). I had mild stimulation with create and have frozen embryos on ice, however thin lining is now my issue. Even with 25 follicles collected, lining was only 6mm. Had a hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, no issues. Thyroid all okay. 10mg of estrogen and patches, max 5.7mm.

Taking high doses of larginine, vitamin e, etc.

Anyone here had success with PRP, Neupogen wash, sildenafil…if so, please can you say where?

Thank you all, really appreciate any help / advice

@Enfys23 thank you so much!

A few days ago I started back on:
Pregnacare pre conception - pre transfer i was supplementing this with 400 micrograms of folate for a more natural source. Perhaps I should just get the pregnacare max?
Zita west ubiquinol 200mg
Solgar vitamin d3 4000IU
Solar vitamin e 134mg x 2
Solgar L-arginine 1000mg x 3
Omega 3 (from algae source) x 2

I’m going to look into Optibac too. At which stage did you decide to do EMMA/ALICE? I’m wondering whether I do another transfer if my lining gets to an appropriate thickness and then consider it or whether I should do it sooner.

I really want to try acupuncture again but need to work out if I can see a specialist or go back to my local place and trust he knows what he’s doing 🤔

I’m trying to do more Bertina Rae yoga. I definitely need to do some of that dancing too 😂 I sit at my desk most of the time and forget to stand and then I sit on the sofa for the rest of the evening.

Thank you for sharing those videos. I’ll watch them this evening.

Hi @Spin101 that sound a good mix.

I would try a fertility trained acupuncture person if you can find one local.

It was offered to me after 2 failed transfers. I asked if I could try for FET but if lining not right then convert it to a biopsy cycle - so that’s what we did. Lining was crap on day 10 and still crap on day 15. But got to just about thick enough for biopsy so we went for that after starting progesterone. It would be worth asking if you could do the same ie see how you go on a new meds regimen and then if not responding well convert it to a biopsy cycle for the EMMA/ALICE.

@Enfys23 how are you? I struggled to keep on top of the other thread we’re on. I tried to skim through for your update. I’m so sorry :( this is such a rollercoaster of a journey. I hope you’re ok x

Hi ladies, just wondered if any of you had a positive outcome a year on? I’m in a similar situation.

Spin101 · 04/09/2024 20:37

@JadeCat i fortunately did have a positive outcome. I wish everyone success in their journeys and don’t want to give anyone false hope. I realise all our bodies are different.

I don’t know which part worked for me as I transferred on a lining of 4.2mm. I had a few sessions of fertility acupuncture beforehand (2-3) and used Progynova 8mg and estrogen patches to prepare for my FET.

Thanks for responding and congratulations! That’s amazing to hear. Im in the middle of an FET and struggling to get past 6mm. I’m also on patches, estrogen pills, acupuncture etc. Your story has given me some hope thank you xx
