Swimming whilst on progesterone

Does anyone know if it's ok to go swimming whilst using progesterone pessaries 3 times per day.

I'm sure it won't do any harm, its more that normally I'm using liners whilst on the pessaries, but that wouldn't work with a swim suit.

Has anyone done it and was it ok?

@duckling3 I went swimming in the sea everyday whilst using pessaries- I always take the rectally to avoid discharge. I asked my clinic first and they said it was fine, they said to me I’d absorb the meds within 20mins of popping them in. I take them twice a day so not as much as you. You could always drop your nurses team an email and ask if you’re concerned xx

Yeah I was about to say what @Agapanthus13 said. Use them rectally and I guess don’t swim right after inserting. Obviously some of them aren’t for rectal use, like Utrogestan, so it depends what you’re taking.
