I have so many meds left over

I have so many IVF meds left lever. Seems such a shame to chuck them. Can I donate them to someone (is this even legal), to a charity etc? My clinic will not take them and just advised to dispose.

I have well over 300 fanjo bullets (progesterone pessaries), expiry date is not until 2023 and all unopened boxes. My IVF was successful and DD born in March, we will not be doing another round anytime soon so what can I do with the meds?

It's strictly not allowed and mumsnet don't allow it either. I have lots left over too. Worst was when I picked up a prescription (for something else) and before the pharmacist handed it over I said I would only use one of the four boxes and asked could they prescribe them to someone else if they kept hold of them. No, they said, not allowed. So wasteful.

Ahh seems such a waste to be told that! £100’s of pounds to be put in the bin makes little sense, many people scrimp and save for treatment. It’s a little disheartening to just chuck them in the bin.

Join some fertility groups on Facebook and ask if anyone needs them. It might not be legal but who the fuck cares.
