Frozen embryo transport using IVF couriers within London

Hi everyone, I need to transport frozen embryos between two NHS London clinics. We have to use a specialist courier company because both clinics don’t offer dry shippers. I’ve contacted a few and they’re all offering different rates. Embryoport has a registered company and is charging the highest of all quotes. CryoA2B also seems like a good option and is charging much lesser than Embryoport but I’m not sure they are registered. Does anyone have recent experience of using these companies and how did it go? Does it matter if they are registered or not? Really confused about which one to choose.

Hiya, I hope my response isn’t too late. I have recently had the last of my embryo samples transport with Embryoport from argc to lister with Embryoport and I cannot stress the efficiency and overall quality of the service. It is honestly worth every extra penny paid as throughout the entire process I was kept up to date and felt like I was able to go through with the transport without any hesitation. I was able to ask for a live tracking of my courier who updated me throughout the entire process and made me feel very secure. I would soul heartedly recommend Embryoport as I cannot see a service going above and beyond as they had

hope this helps

@Yashmak who did you use in the end? 🙂

Hi there, I went with CT shipper (also known as City Fertility) in the end. They were competitive in their pricing and they were registered as well. They also didn’t charge me extra for paying with a credit card unlike Embryoport.
They weren’t the best at communicating progress though. They also didn’t offer real time tracking. However they let me know when the transfer was completed which was within the 2 week window they had stipulated. I guess I got added piece of mind that they were a real company because I had seen their clinic in the London city.
Hope this helps.

@Yashmak they are £3500 as opposed to others at £1500. Thank you for the recommendation though. It just shows you must shop around or you will get scammed out of your ££££

I did a within London transfer for £200. £3000 sounds a lot! Is that for an international transfer?

We used CryoA2B in June last year and were very happy with their service!

This quote is from London to L.A. for £3500. I couldn’t believe it. It’s the highest quote so far!
