Ovulation tests

Hiya, been trying for baby no.2 for two and a half years now and I have now started to track my ovulation to see if I can get my head around it. I tried the 'not stressing' thing for too long and I feel I need to face this journey head on now 😆. Anyway, I have the progression pics with the strip tests this week and last night was the first really dark line so thought that was the positive test I'd waited for and this morning it's immediately gone light again. I have been doing one test both morning and evening. Will attach pic for better understanding! Does it mean I'll potentially have ovulated from sometime yesterday evening to possibly the next day or so? Is it normal to go from dark to light within hours? Hope someone can help, thanks! 💗💗

It means your peak was yesterday evening and yes it's faded this morning as the peak can last only a few hours. However that doesn't mean you've ovulated yet - the LH surge which the ovulating testing kit tests for occurs 24-48 hours before ovulation... and then the egg can survive for up to 24 hours... so when you get the peak on the kit it means it's best to have sex that day and for the next 2 or 3 days after

@Rosiestraws thanks so much! That's really helpful. Fingers crossed it all pays off in the end then 😆
