IVF on the NHS

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can help, I've just been refared for IVF in the Liverpool area, has anyone recently gone through this, and if so how long did it take for your funding to come through?

I am with the Womens, im not sure exactly I must of sent off all my information the asked for in November and I started my first round of IVF in the February. Hope this helps a little maybe 6 - 8 weeks then your waiting on your cycle to you can get your drug appointment and finally start! you feel like your waiting forever!! Good luck hope you getting going soon!

Hi, I'm not in Liverpool but I was referred May 2021 first app Nov 2021 First cycle March 22 currently on my 2nd cycle.

There were some delays due to Covid.

@Bethyboo191087 wait until it's your 2week wait longest slowest 2 weeks ever! 😂 Good luck with it all if u want to chat or any help pop a message up I'm no expert but I have gone through one round just waiting to try again and lots of people on here for help, advice and support x

Oh I think I may book a holiday for the 2 week wait to try and distract myself absoloutley dreading it! 😂😂

@Bethyboo191087 good idea I did that and it did help I resisted the urge to test early as I was away and didn't have easy access to my stash of tests!
