Advice Wanted - IVF

We've been trying for almost a year with 3 chemicals and now nothing. Given my age and suspected low AMH, I am thinking it's time to be proactive and get the ball rolling. I have fertility blood tests arranged for Monday.

Looking online at statistics, it seems like a minefield of information. Our local clinic (which I thought was well regarded) seems to have low %'s. Can anyone give me any advice regarding how to choose a clinic and anything they found helpful when they went through this process? Any questions to ask etc?

What % success rates does the local clinic have?

The HFEAA website is a good starting point but honestly the statistics that clinics report aren't exactly reliable and like any business they'll find a way of massaging them. There is a well known clinic that has a much much higher success rate than any other clinic....why....because any complicated cases or ones they think have little chance of success they move to their sister clinic

Anyway make a list of clinics - have a think about what type of IVF you might want to do - I only wanted to do mild or natural modified IVF which limits options, think about practicalities - near to home or near to work. Nothing more stressful than stressing about running late for appointments and fitting them around work as well as everything else. Go to the open evenings - I went to a few - the one I chose I just had a good feeling about - they were friendly, relaxed and I didn't feel like a number or a walking blank cheque.

Hi there! I'm just starting my IVF journey and did so much research to find my clinic. Personally I'm going to Cyprus to a clinic named Dunya iVF, but you can research through this website gcr . org its basically the clinic rating site for clinics all over the world. It helped me narrow things down. I personally looked at equipment and of course success rates.
