Please help, Covid after fet

Hi everyone

I had a little 6 day embryo transferred last Wednesday (6 days ago) so I’m currently 6dp6dt. I had a lot of symptoms such as cold sweats, sore thighs, cold like symptoms which I read about an ivf cold and maybe put it down to that. But today I decided to do a covid test incase and it has came up positive for covid! I’m now really saddened that these were probably not symptoms after all and absolutely terrified this will impact my little embryo really badly! I’m worried sick.

Has anyone else every had covid after fet or have any information of how this will affect the embryo?

@Laur411 really sorry to hear your poorly, as if ivf isn’t bad enough! I also caught Covid after a transfer (my husband tested positive the day of my transfer and as much as we isolated from each other I tested positive a few days later) i contacted my clinic to ask for advise. They said to ensure I drank 2L of water a day, lots of rest and paracetamol if I had a temperature. I’d suggest you do the same and contact your nurses to see if they suggest anything else.
