Fet - medication question

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone who has done an FET can share their knowledge...

I am due to start a round of FET with my next cycle. Medication is due to be delivered Thursday, but I think I'm about to start my period in the next couple days

I've been told that on cycle day 1 I call the clinic and they arrange a phone appointment to start the process.

Just wondering, if you've done FET what cycle day did you start the medication? I'm thinking if the medication doesn't normally start until day 2/3/4 anyway then maybe there's less chance of it being a problem if my period starts before the meds arrive.

I could try and rearrange the med delivery to come sooner but it would then clash with work so would be needing to explain why I wasn't in the office.

My protocol was starting estrogen on day 2 of my cycle

@duckling3 hey. My medication started day 21, norethisterone , as I was doing long protocol ! Which one are you doing ? Do you know ? Have they mentioned norethisterone ? Xx

I am doing a short one, not been told about norethisterone. Will be starting with estrogen and then a mix of estrogen & progesterone.

I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed, and worse case will have to wait another month.

@duckling3 what meds do you have? I’ve done a couple of FET with different protocol. My current one is ‘natural’, I call on day 1 and go for a scan day 2. My meds don’t start until day 7.

It all worked out good. Meds started cycle day 3, which meant I didnt need to wait an extra month. Go scan on 28th and transfer pencilled in for 5th July.
